Nick McDowall - Consultant

Nick holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng (Hons)) degree from The University of Nottingham for the study of Environmental Engineering. He furthered his knowledge and interest in the field of renewable energy technologies by studying for a Master of Science (MSc) degree at Nottingham University, passing with distinction. Studying Energy Conversion and Management, he worked closely with Prologis and The CA Group to develop a dissertation topic focussing on utilising transpired solar collectors to reduce the energy demands of industrial warehouses.

Nick is currently working alongside Robert Stamp in developing proposals and feasibility studies for a range of clients to implement renewable energy strategies for carbon reductions. Developing existing spreadsheets for calculating energy and carbon emissions from low carbon technologies installations for ease in modelling in various types of buildings. He will continue to assist in the presentation and articulation of low carbon solutions through a solid understanding of the relevant legislation, market trends and client requirements in reports.
