RESCo (Renewable Energy Services Companies)

For larger developments involving multiple stakeholders, onsite renewable energy generation can be challenging. Increasingly, a distributed approach to energy generation, as opposed to individual installations, is seen as the more cost effective method of meeting planning and regulatory requirements.

Making a project work financially, legally and practically in a community setting however, is often less than straightforward. One technique is to form a Renewable Energy Services Companies (RESCo), which benefits sites with multiple energy consumers. LowC can play a pivotal role in the development of a RESCo, handling all the capital investment, maintenance and operation aspects of the installation, thereby taking the associated costs off the project balance sheet.
