Equally as important is ensuring that the chosen technology is installed correctly, with appropriate measures and controls in place to provide optimal operation of the installation.

LowC has extensive experience in planning and managing the implementation of onsite renewable energy systems, with the skills and expertise needed to build and commission the equipment and infrastructure. Our project implementation approach typically follows these principle phases:

1. Technology Selection

LowC works closely with clients, helping to select technology that is not only the most financially viable, but which also satisfies the social and environmental constraints of the project. By considering whole life costs rather than straight capital costs, including plant replacement and operational costs, payback periods can be reduced and long-term energy savings can be achieved.

2. Detailed Design

LowC offers dedicated project management services that transform the initial client brief into the final product. Services range from complete design services required to ensure smooth interaction of the energy centre with local infrastructure to liaising with third parties to manage connection requirements and boundary interfacing.

3. Procurement

To facilitate the procurement process, LowC manages the following stages:

• instruct to build;
• manage build;
• utilities connections;
• delivery/transport.

4.Implementation

By managing the installation process, from equipment positioning through to supervising final connections with site services, LowC's knowledge and experience of project delivery minimises disruptions and ensures timeframes are met. Services include commissioning and training of on-site staff as well as overseeing the handover process and ensuring required documentation and certificates are delivered.
