January 2010Bob Stamp has joined LowC Consulting as General Manager. Robert Stamp is a Member of CIBSE, a Chartered Engineer and has been a Building Services Professional since graduating with a BSc (Hons) from Brunel University in 1981. In his 30 years experience of working in the Built Environment Robert has worked for leading Building Services Design Contractors in Design Management (Haden Young and AMEC Design & Management) with a focus on the delivery of services at the central plant end of the spectrum. This period included the Lead Design of the mechanical plant serving the campuses of a number of major research facility estates. Since 2000 Robert has been focusing on the demand side of the design, installation and operation of building services by supporting Gifford Consultants and the Technology Centre of Taylor Woodrow as their Manager for Building Services and MEICA Design. Latterly Roberts focus has been with that of aligning the delivery of the built environment to that of the drivers behind the changing legislative framework for Green House Gas emissions reduction. This being from the practical and holistic standpoint of linking building performance across all facets of the Design, Build and Operation of the Built Environment.Robert is a member of the CIBSE CHP focus groups steering committee, the project manager for the families' home refurbishment. Howard has 21 years experience in the UK Construction Industry, previously specialising in Building Services Engineering.Howard has historically held positions in a Consulting, Contracting and Construction Management role dealing with various aspects of design, procurement, engineering, planning, project management and general operations in such companies as:
November 2009LowC and Phoenix Fuels - A Unique PartnershipLowC and Phoenix Group form a unique partnership for providing locally sourced plant in the UK for use in Energy Generation through Combined heat and Power (CHP). The accredited fuel comes with Ofgem compliance and full carbon traceability through the planting/harvesting and crushing processes. The first beneficiaries of the supply partnership are two recently built schools in Nottingham (Bigwood and Oakfield SEN) who are already supplied with the CHP renewable fuelled technology provided by LowC. November 2009Bob Weaver has joined LowC Energy Service as General Manager.Bob Weaver is a specialist in Electrical Power Networks and Utility Connections with particular emphasis in the competitive connections arena. He has worked nationwide supporting and managing both CHP and 'load based' utility connection projects. Following training with a Midlands based Electricity Distribution Network Operator Bob has accumulated over 35 years experience in all aspects of the industry including system design, installation, operations and project and contractor management. Bob was part of the RWE (Innogy) Group that undertook the due diligence project in Kosova (KEK) during 2003 and provided specialist advice on the Transmission, Distribution and H&S aspect of the Bid document. He was formerly Engineering Manager with a major Energy Supply Company prior to joining LowC, Energy Services Ltd. Bob provides a wealth of Electricity Supply Industry and Regulatory knowledge to LowC and remains a member of the Ofgem, Electricity Connections Steering Group (ECSG) and a number of the associated Sub-groups.
